If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist in Hoffman Estates, Dr. Becker is a general dentist who loves treating children—and children enjoy coming to our office. Dr. Becker has been practicing family dentistry for decades.
What Is a Pediatric Dentist?
A pediatric dentist is a licensed specialist who has completed two years of post-graduate training in dentistry specifically for children. It’s very unlikely that your child will need treatment that requires a specialist, but if that is the case, Dr. Becker will readily refer you. The training he received in dental school allows him to provide treatment for children’s basic dental needs.
Many families want one dentist who is able to treat every family member. It’s convenient, and there is comfort in having an established relationship with a dentist that everyone in the family can see.
We Help Children Have Positive Dental Experiences
We welcome children in our office. As your child accompanies you to an appointment and sees what grown-ups do at the dental office, how the dentist cleans or fixes teeth, and that mommy or daddy can leave the dental office with a smile, your child will look forward to dental visits.
Throughout your child’s own appointment, we ensure a comfortable and pleasant dental experience.
- We welcome you to come into the treatment room with your child.
- Although Dr. Becker’s chairside manner is gentle and his treatment is virtually painless, we pay close attention to your child’s verbal and non-verbal signs of discomfort.
- Your child will never be pushed to have treatment. If your child is agreeable, we proceed with the treatment. If he or she wants us to stop, we stop.
Dr. Becker focuses on preventive treatment and overall health and wellness for his patients. We’ll give you and your child tips on how to take care of teeth from an early age—when the first tooth appears. And our office, waiting area, and treatment rooms are kid-friendly. We have fun things to play with, a welcoming environment, and a friendly staff.
Complete our request an appointment form or call our office to schedule an appointment for your child. Or, if you and your child want to first meet Dr. Becker, see our office and ask a few questions, you can request a complimentary consultation.
